"I decided to record my debut album 'MY NEW DAY' with Tijuana Productions. Being a singer-songwriter, TP was the best choice of studio for me as they have two full time producers who are multi-instrumental musicians. This really appealed to me as a solo artist. I sent them rough demos of the tracks a month before recording and by the time I got to the studio, the guys already had a production plan for each track! This made it much smoother when i stepped in to record. Of course, Tijuana Productions has top quality gear and they know how to get the best out of it.
Ben and Courtney spent a lot of time working out exactly what sound I was after for the CD - it was this attention to detail that really shows on the completed disk. Because the guys recorded all the backing tracks (drums, bass, strings, keys, backing vocals, harmonies,etc) for me, I was able to save a lot of time and money in getting other session musicians in.
I am over the moon with the finished CD and cannot thank Ben and Courtney enough for their guidance and effort that went into the whole recording process - from pre-production to the finished CD. They even helped me with some post-production issues.
I will definitely be back to Tijuana Productions for my follow up CD
